Senate Report on Global Warming

To start with, a warning: you will have to read original source material and think for yourself if want to analyze this topic. The links to the documents are here, but you will have to do some work.

Have you noticed they are now calling it “Man-Made Climate Change” rather than “Global Warming?” Turns out the globe is getting cooler. Guess what? The science isn’t “settled,” sorry Al.

I guess since Mr. Gore lost his Senate seat he hasn’t bothered keeping up with Senate research. You should read the US Senate’s own 2008 report: 650 International Scientists Dissent Over Man-Made Global Warming Claims. The report expands on the 2007 Senate Report which outlines objections made by 400 scientists.

You should also read the Science and Public Policy Institute’s report: Prejudiced Authors, Prejudiced Findings. Read these 2 reports and then you be the judge. You will realize the question is not who is misleading who, but the real question is why?

One of the big misleading statements of ObamaCare is that under government health care you will never be turned down for treatment. Either that is true, or it isn’t. Perhaps we should look at what health care the government already provides and decide how it stacks up against major insurers. Let’s let actual historical numbers help us predict future outcome. Read the AMA’s National Insurance Report Cards yourself: 2008, 2009. If the government thinks it can fix healthcare, why not let them prove it by fixing Medicare first? I wonder what are they waiting for?

Real Doctors Bring Their Own Coats

This is an example of misleading the public, and at taxpayer expense. The White House yesterday met with doctors to pitch his healthcare plan, handing out camera-ready white coats. I wonder who paid for the white coats… I’m guessing you and I.

They are trying to counter the grass roots demonstration on September 10, 2009, reported at LookingAtTheLeft.com. Somehow the real people just look more real… Now you can decide who is prevaricating.

Just last week in Chicago Reverend Wrightly Smythe was walking down the street when he came upon a group of about a dozen boys, all of them between 10 and 12 years of age. The group were surrounding a dog. Concerned that the boys were hurting the dog, he went over and asked “What are you doing with that dog?”

One of the boys replied, “This dog is just an old neighborhood stray. We all want him, but only one of us can take him home. So we’ve decided that whichever one of us can tell the biggest lie will get to keep the dog.”

Of course, Reverend Smythe was taken aback. “You boys shouldn’t be having a contest telling lies!” he exclaimed. He then launched into a ten minute sermon against lying, beginning, “Don’t you boys know it’s a sin to lie,” and ending with, “Why, when I was your age, I never told a lie.”

There was dead silence for about a minute. Just as the reverend was beginning to think he’d gotten through to them, the smallest boy gave a deep sigh and said, “All right, give him the dog.”

Sept 12, 2009 Protest

On September 12, 2009, right in front of our offices here at the National Institute of Prevarication we witnessed a massive display of patriotism unlike anything we have seen in a long, long, time. Zero violence, zero arrests, from an impassioned crowd who was there to protest big government and the corruption in government.

The capitol police refused to count the large crowd due to criticism in the past of their accuracy. The fire department’s official total was around 75,000. But according to many eye witnesses the crowd was much larger. According to LookingAtTheLeft.com the crowd was much, much larger. Click on the photo above to see a larger photo.
