Yeah, Interpol member states also include... the United States. The Sec-Gen is an American. This is not a "foreign" agency, it is an international agency with investigators that are also American. Its function is to be a liason between various world law enforcement agencies pursuing international crime. An FBI agent pursuing someone to France would use Interpol as a liason to the appropriate law enforcement of that country. A French agent pursuing a criminal or terrorist to the US would use Interpol to liase with the FBI. Et cetera. Interpol issues its own passport so that investigators on official business do not need to wait for visas. In other words, do some reading and stop scaring the children. There's nothing to see here.

Interpol member states include Syria, Libya, Cuba and Iran. Do we really want operatives from those countries roaming around the US without restriction? Do we want those countries to have free access to Interpol's data that they will surely be collecting now on US soil?

Where is congress on this? Who gives Obama the right to do this? If he is running this country for to long we will no longer be considered Americans. This blows my mind that a man smart enough to get elected on a "what if" Dream and a "we need change" Idea, can be so stupid as to sign such a thing, giving away more right than we have as United States Citizens. When will enough be ENOUGH?

I for one will sleep better at night knowing that foreign operatives can now roam at will within our borders without being subject to our laws. Thanks Barack for change we can believe in.
