Harry Reid Blames Republicans for Slavery

December 7th, 2009 3 comments

WASHINGTON: This is truly revolting. If you didn’t see this with your own eyes you wouldn’t believe it. This morning Harry Reid addressed the Senate. Reid of course blames everything bad that ever happened on evil Republicans. The difficulty he is now having ramming his monster healthcare bill down the gullets of Americans he blames on Republicans. This is Republican standard operating procedure according to Harry.

Harry says we saw the same thing when we tried to end slavery. According to Reid Republicans stood in the way. Earth to Harry… Abraham Lincoln was the first Republican President, and we think he had a little something to do with ending slavery. Then when it came time to pass civil rights, Harry again blames Republicans for filibustering the Civll Rights Act of 1964. Harry knows that 80% of the Senators filibustering at the time were Democrats. He says these things to sway citizens who he thinks are all too dumb to think for themselves. This is prevarication in its most disgusting form.

A Date Which Will Live in Infamy

December 7, 1941 A Date Which Will Live in InfamyPEARL HARBOR, 1941: On today’s date in 1941 the Japanese carried out a surprise attack on Pearl Harbor. As of that date it was the deadliest one day attack by a foreign enemy on American soil in our nation’s history. 353 aircraft from six Japanese aircraft carriers attacked in an early morning raid that only cost lives of 65 Japanese.

The losses on Americans were significant. Four Navy battleships were sank and four more were damaged. Three cruisers, three destroyers, one minelayer, and 188 aircraft were destroyed. American casualties included 2,402 dead and 1,282 wounded. The very next day President Franklin D. Roosevelt proclaimed the day before as “a date which will live in infamy.” Within an hour of the speech Congress passed a declaration of war. That one day made all the difference. The war that followed lasted almost four years at a cost of 418,500 American lives. It freed the world of the most brutal regimes in history and prevented the deaths of millions while protecting American soil.

Sixty years later 2,976 died as a result of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed’s attack on the World Trade Center. Eight years later the families of New Yorkers are still waiting for justice. Read more…

NEW YORK, NY: Yesterday several thousand protestors gathered in NYC to rally against Obama’s decision to try Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other 911 conspirators as civilians in federal court. The outrage shared among the participants fired up the crowd Saturday at Foley Square as they battled harsh weather conditions during the 2 hour rally. The NIP has previously written about the real objectives of this show trial, and condemns the trial’s violation of the Geneva Convention.

During the rally Actor Brian Dennehy read a statement from the parents of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, whose beheading by KSM was broadcast in 2002 on video for the world to witness:

“We, who witnessed the darkest side of hell, and have since spent every moment of our lives studying the anatomy of terror, we refuse to accept the strategy of normalization that Holder’s decision represents. Terror is a crime against society, and should not be tried in the same court as crimes against individuals or against a particular country.” 911NeverForget.us

EL MARCO reported that last Tuesday NYC Police Commissioner Ray Kelly revealed that city officials were not even consulted by Attorney General Eric Holder prior to the announcement: Read more…

Al Gore Nominated for 1999 Prevaricator of the Year™

Al Gore Invents the InternetTHE INTERNET: Al Gore took the initiative in creating the Internet, as he asserted in an interview with Wolf Blitzer in 1999. Well known for inventing global warming, few Internet users also know of Mr. Gore’s primary role in creating the Internet. How he had time for that and running our country is a mystery to us. They say if you want to get something done, give the job to a busy man. Attaboy Al!

Apparently the folks at ARPANET claim to have had something to do with the Internet back in 1969. They have taken issue with Gore’s claim and have nominated him for 1999 Prevaricator of the Year™. If you have anyone else you are considering you better get the names in soon, as it looks like Al may have 1999 put away in his “lockbox”. Read more…

Al Gore Blamed for Climategate

NORWICH, England: The NIP has learned of a lawsuit soon to be filed against Al Gore. It appears that the Hadley CRU whose climate research has been discredited in the furor known as “Climategate” is about to sue Al Gore over the incident. More from crack reporter Jon Stewart:

International Reaction to Obama’s Half-Hearted Surge

Obama at West PointWEST POINT, New York: Obama’s half-hearted speech last night drew a tepid response internationally and left many asking questions about the President’s resolve. German press giant Der Spiegel put it this way:

Never before has a speech by President Barack Obama felt as false as his Tuesday address announcing America’s new strategy for Afghanistan. It seemed like a campaign speech combined with Bush rhetoric — and left both dreamers and realists feeling distraught.

One can hardly blame the West Point leadership. The academy commanders did their best to ensure that Commander-in-Chief Barack Obama’s speech would be well-received.

Just minutes before the president took the stage inside Eisenhower Hall, the gathered cadets were asked to respond “enthusiastically” to the speech. But it didn’t help: The soldiers’ reception was cool. One didn’t have to be a cadet on Tuesday to feel a bit of nausea upon hearing Obama’s speech. It was the least truthful address that he has ever held. He spoke of responsibility, but almost every sentence smelled of party tactics. Gabor Steingart, Der Speiegel

The President failed to sound a clear call to arms, instead calling for retreat in the very next sentence after he called for more troops: Read more…
