Take Back America Election Clock

The Take Back America Election Clock (seen at right) is inspired by Ray Stevens’ hit song We the People. “You vote Obamacare, we’re gonna vote you outta there” goes the song.

Who are they? To help all of us remember who voted for Obamacare the NIP has developed the Countdown to Take Back America Election Clock that you see at the top of our right column.

The clock shows the 243 Senators and Congressmen up for reelection who voted for Obamacare. We did not forget Anh “Joseph” Cao, the lone House Republican voting for the bill who needs a new line of work. These people really need be sent packing this fall.

Webmasters and bloggers are free to use this widget on there web sites and blogs. Our counter to the right shows an up-the-minute count of the views our election clock has had at the web sites that already have installed it. (The counter is not part of the clock and is not available.)

Here is the one line code you need to put the Countdown TBA Election Clock on your web site or blog:

<iframe width="272" height="245" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" src="http://prevarication.net/bums.html"></iframe>

This code will open a tiny window on your page where your visitors will view the running clock and will see a new slideshow of targeted senators and representatives each time the page reloads.

Here is a narrower version:

<iframe width="220" height="205" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" src="http://prevarication.net/bums-200.html"></iframe>

Here is a narrower version, with black background, white text:

<iframe width="220" height="205" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" src="http://prevarication.net/bums-200b.html"></iframe>

Here is an even narrower version, approx 170 pix wide:

<iframe width="170" height="200" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" src="http://prevarication.net/bums-160.html"></iframe>

That’s it, you just paste one of the 4 versions into your HTML and the clock shows up on your blog or web page. If you are using WordPress or similar software you need to the insert code into the HTML using the HTML editor. Since we are running the scripts on our web server you don’t need to worry about performance hits or trojan horse issues. Let us know if you need other versions to fit your template or have any problems. We’ll be glad to help.

FYI: Each time the page reloads it places 50 random mug shots from the 243 voting for ObamaCare into a slideshow. Each reload should bring you a new batch of folks for you to throw darts at.

Let’s get this clock out there and get out the vote this November. The future of our country is at stake.

My WordPress blog columns take about a 160 pixel wide object. Can I manually change the height and width on your script?

@Doug Smith Unfortunately it isn’t that simple to adjust the size. We have made a new version. Please try it and see it if works for you. Thanks.
