BABE HUGGETT: Meeting the bullying tactics of the Obama Administration’s Department of Justice with it’s suit against them for “voter intimidation” head on, the King Street Patriots held a press conference on Thursday, Oct. 28 openly inviting the DOJ to send in, “…federal election monitors and staff from the Community Relations Service…” to see for themselves the unbiased dedication and honesty of the True the Vote initiative trained poll watchers, who have come under increasing verbal and physical abuse for reporting irregularities at polls notorious for voter fraud.

Speaking for the King Street Patriots was their Liberty Institute lawyer, Jonathan Saenz, who enumerated the harassment the poll watchers have endured from verbal abuse and veiled threats all the way up to being physically manhandled and assaulted.

Saenz said, “We are so concerned by these attacks against volunteer poll-watchers, most of whom are stay-at-home moms or elderly, that we have asked the Justice Department to help and even attend True the Vote poll watcher trainings. Having poll watchers is not only the law, it is crucial in a free society that all candidates and parties can see and make sure the election was held with integrity. Being attacked for fulfilling that civic role is inexcusable.”

King Street Patriots leader, Catherine Engelbrecht, backed up Saenz’s statement when she took the mike and commented, “Many of the poll watchers being attacked are soccer moms and senior citizens, who volunteer their time because they love their country and want to ensure a free and fair election. The True the Vote poll watcher trainings are for anyone who wants to get involved. Attacks on silent poll watchers are not only against the law but shameful.”

BABE HUGGETT: Taking their civic duty as concerned American citizens seriously, the King Street Patriots organization with their True the Vote poll watchers, are under growing local, regional and national assault by Democratic and leftist-liberal smear machines for daring to expose massive voter fraud especially within the minority communities in Harris County, TX.

The biggest attack came directly from the Obama Administration’s oxymoronic Department of Justice in response to a letter sent by the King Street Patriots alerting the department of what they had found. Instead of thanking the group for exposing how the Democratic party is blatantly using black communities centered around Houston as tools to commit voter fraud, the DOJ is suing the King Street Patriots for “voter intimidation” based solely on trumped-up accusations coming from outraged democratic operatives complaining that they find the mere presence of the poll watchers, many of whom are elderly women, “threatening”.

The accusations are specious but have now provided a jumping off point for left leaning news and opinion outlets to attack the King Street Patriots organization as a racist group with suspect funding. The local ABC affiliate, Channel 13, even speculated on their evening news broadcast that the King Street Patriots would soon be facing jail time. Democratic congresswoman, Sheila Jackson Lee, whose 18th congressional district polling places are not used to actual scrutiny, demanded and got the King Street Patriot’s financial records in order to somehow expose the locally-funded-through-private-citizen donation group as being ban rolled by some imagined billionaire with an agenda much like leftist organizations themselves are funded by the likes of a George Soros , Ted Turner, or Stephen Rockefeller.

Catherine Engelbrecht, head of the King Street Patriots, said, “I was just in stunned disbelief that a station I grew up watching would take a completely fallacious statement as damaging as “going to jail” is and broadcast it with abandon. Where’s the accountability?”

JAMES SIMPSON: Maryland has long been considered one of the bluest of blue states. But with anti-Democrat fever running red hot, that is rapidly changing. There are competitive races everywhere. Thirty-year incumbent House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer is facing a stiff challenge from Republican Charles Lollar in Maryland’s 5^th District. In Maryland’s 3^rd, veteran Marine fighter pilot, Republican Jim Wilhelm, is challenging legacy Democratic Congressman John Sarbanes, son of longtime Senator Paul Sarbanes and former Republican Governor Bob Ehrlich is giving corrupt, pathologically dishonest Governor Martin O’Malley—the Boy Blunder—a run for his money.

But another race has flown completely under the radar up to now. Conservative businessman Frank Mirabile has mounted a powerful challenge to radical liberal 7^th District incumbent, Elijah Cummings. Maryland’s 7^th encompasses largely rural Howard County, part of suburban Baltimore County and western Baltimore City.

Cummings is black. His constituency is disproportionately black. But that is the only thing they share in common. Like most liberals, Cummings uses his fellow blacks to remain comfortably ensconced in his lucrative, cushy job. And he does nothing, I repeat, nothing to help them.

Enter Frank Mirabile. A hardworking family man who built a successful landscaping business, he is dedicated to returning government to its Constitutional roots and getting it off our backs and out of our pocketbooks. Mirabile has a deep grasp of both economics and the needs of the district, unlike Cummings who uses it like a vending machine.

Frank has also done something Cummings hasn’t done in years, if ever. He has walked through the district numerous times. Feedback from residents is stunning:

• We are tired of the whole racism bit. We aren’t buying it. If you have solutions let us hear them. Please!
• We are sick of all the methadone maintenance clinics in our neighborhoods, breeding grounds for crime, drug dealing and filth.
• Our neighborhoods are neglected, run down and dirty.
• Trades are not taught in schools anymore. Why not?
• Illegal immigrants are doing all the “shovel ready” jobs.
• Taxes are too high, even for those on welfare.
• Crime is everywhere.
• We are sick of Cummings—he’s a phony!

And this is my favorite:

• Our American Dream is NOT to be on welfare!

EL MARCO: Colorado gubernatorial candidate Tom Tancredo is an extraordinary man with no shortage of friends, and detractors. Tancredo has been branded a racist by the political left for being a leading critic of illegal immigration, and yet he earned a standing ovation from the NAACP. Recently I was in New York to photograph the start of the Sudan Freedom Walk, and learned things about Tom Tancredo (and Obama) that few Americans know anything about. I discovered that while many in the Sudanese refugee community feel betrayed by President Obama, they reserve a special place in their hearts for Tom Tancredo. Now, for the first time, the Sudanese community in America speaks out in support of Tancredo, while bitterly criticizing Obama.

Obama always kept saying in public and in the news, “I’m going to stop the genocide, and when I become president, no more genocide.” I met Obama face to face in Philadelphia, at the Sheraton Hotel, with the Sudanese community of Philadelphia. We met him, and he promised us, the first thing, he was going to stop the genocide. After he became President, and after we worked for him (campaigning) he forgot us totally, he forgot us. Now every day he talks with the Sudan government, and he gives them more time to kill people. Of course, I feel very bad. And also, this is a shame as a human being.

Obama, his father comes from Kenya, and Sudan and Kenya have a border. Obama’s father’s tribe is called Luo. Luo is the same tribe who also live in Darfur. No matter what, if his tribe lives in Darfur, or doesn’t live in Darfur, he should say something. Now is the time to say something. He doesn’t even say “President Bashir, from today, don’t kill people in Darfur. stop raping the women in Darfur, and stop killing the children in Darfur. If you continue killing children in Darfur, we’re going to take action, we’re going to do something to you. We’re going to do something to your regime.” But he never says that.

The Sudan government killed my father. My family is in a refugee camp for nine years. I have a lot of good friends, more than a thousand, who died in Sudan. I think that Obama is close to the Arab Muslim, more than the African. Because Sudan’s problem is between Africans and Arab Muslims. Arab Muslims, in the north, they kill us. They kill Christian people, more than three million in south Sudan, for no reason. And also, they killed two million in Nuba Mountain. Today, in Darfur, we don’t even know how many people died. JAMES SIMPSON: Like most things unapologetically conservative and unapologetically pro-American, Soldier of Fortune magazine has been pilloried for years by the organized Left’s venomously anti-American press and culture. But SOF, founded in 1975 by decorated Special Forces veteran and lifelong adventurer, Lt. Col. Robert K. Voting districts have had nearly two years to comply with the MOVE Act, a law requiring districts to mail absentee ballots 45 days prior to the elections to soldiers deployed overseas. There are widespread reports of non-compliance in several states, including Alabama, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana and New Mexico and Nevada.

Somehow Eric Holder and the Justice Department have failed to enforce the MOVE act. Could it be because the majority of overseas servicemen are likely conservative voters? The NIP asserts that if the servicemen were Democratic voters the DOJ would be all over the states to comply. For this administration selective law enforcement is all about skewing elections in their own favor.

For example the DOJ has an official policy of not prosecuting voter intimidation in cases where whites are involved. Witness the case of the Blank Panthers (video below) who received a default judgement for failing to appear in court. This was prior to Obama’s inauguration. All was left was sentencing, but when Holder was appointed Attorney General he dropped the case. Whistleblower J. Christian Adams, former DOJ attorney was interviewed on Fox News by Megyn Kelly this July:

Adams: It’s the easiest case I ever had at the Justice Department. There was no doubt in anybody’s mind, at least not the people working hard on the case [but] we were told drop the charges against the New Black Panther Party.

Kelly: Do you believe that the DOJ has a policy now of not pursuing cases if the defendant is black and victim is white?

Adams: Particularly in voting. In voting, that will be the case over the next few years. There’s no doubt about it.

Is it really just an issue black vs white?

Perhaps someone needs to remind Holder that there are plenty of blacks serving in our military. But of course he knows that. It’s not about blacks or whites, it’s all about power. Democratic power. The power of a ruling elite that seeks domination over a supposedly free people. While the DOJ fiddles, servicemen in harm’s way don’t even get to vote in this election and thugs intimidating voters back at home score Get-Out-of-Jail-Free cards courtesy of Eric Holder.
